I've decided to focus more in helping people and finding homes for unwanted items. I also am going to start selling .99 items. This will give people a change to own items without having to pay a high price. I also want to give people an opportunity to sell their crafts/items without having to do the work to list it. I know there are people who are not computer savvy or just don't have time for listing. I would be glad to help you.
This listing is for 2 books:
White Work Techniques & 188 Designs by Carter Houck. Copyright 1978. ISBN 0-486-23695-1. The book is in excellent shape.
From the book: The author assumes no previous knowledge of White Work and provides complete information on materials, pattern-transferring techniques, and instructions. Diagrams for over 20 stitches: the simple chain stitch and running stitch; satin stitches and French knots; more difficult "virtuoso" techniques like the start and shadow.
Needlepoint Lace by Nenia Lovesey. Copyright 1983 First Edition ISBN 0-7134-4141-0. The book is in excellent shape, but there is minor writing on inside back cover.
From the book: This book is about the needlepoint lace that is being made now and the possibilities that it holds for experiments and adaptation. But, as with any worthwhile development of a craft, the experimentation is firmly rooted in tradition, the basis still being the traditional needlepoint stitches and many of the patterns being new interpretations of traditional motifs. There are nearly a hundred pattern drawings to provide ideas, as well as photographs of some of the finished work.

Thank you and happy bidding!!
SPECIAL NOTES
- For canvases. Unless specified, threads are not included with the canvas. Canvases are considered used because they are preowned. They are in excellent stored condition and any damage will be specified in the listing.
- For stitchery items. If threads are included, what appears in the pictures is what you will receive.
- For latch hook kits, all materials are assumed to be included. Most kits do not include latch hook. If it is not mentioned, then it is not in the kit.
- For all kits, opened and partially completed kits are noted. Unless otherwise specified, kits APPEAR to be complete. What you see in the pictures is what the winning bidder/buyer will receive.
- For hand painted yarn, I do not use stock photographs. There can be too much variation in color, so you can be sure what is shown in the pictures is the yarn you will receive.
- For books/magazines, I specify any damage that I see. Please do know that I am human and can miss something.
SHIPPING (NEW 2025):
- Shipping on larger canvases is going to be increased. Postage on tubes has been increased. I am shipping via FEDEX because it is cheaper but still higher than previously charged. If you want your canvas folded, I can ship for a decreased shipping cost. Let me know in the notes.
