DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for a Royal Doulton character small jug: Falstaff, D6385 Variation 1 (Rose tunic; black hat, rose plumes, grey beard). Issued 1950-1995. The figurine is in excellent stored condition and measures 3 1/2" H. "John Falstaff" is written in the mold on the back, see pictures. The box is NOT included.
ABOUT JOHN FALSTAFF:
He is a fictional character who appears in three plays by William Shakespeare. In the two Henry IV plays, he is companion to Prince Hal, the future King Henry V. In "The Merry Wives of Windsor" he is the suitor of two married women.
