I've decided to focus more in helping people and finding homes for unwanted items. I also am going to start selling .99 items. This will give people a change to own items without having to pay a high price. I also want to give people an opportunity to sell their crafts/items without having to do the work to list it. I know there are people who are not computer savvy or just don't have time for listing. I would be glad to help you.
This listing is for a vintage Needlepoint Workshop needlepoint canvas: W.C. Fields. A canvas you won't see too often.

ABOUT W.C. FIELDS:
Born William Claude Dukenfield in 1880. He was an American comedian, actor, juggler, and writer. He began is success as a silent juggler. He gradually incorporated his comedy into his act, and was a featured comedian in the Ziegfield Follies for several years. He became a star in the Broadway musical comedy "Poppy" in 1923. He went to school for four years, then quit to work with his father selling vegetables from a horse cart. At eleven, after many fights with his alcoholic father (who hit him on the head with a shovel), he ran away from home. For a while he lived in a hole in the ground, depending on stolen food and clothing. He was often beaten and spent nights in jail. His first regular job was delivering ice. By age thirteen he was a skilled pool player and juggler. It was then, at an amusement park in Norristown PA, that he was first hired as an entertainer.

SPECIAL NOTES
- For canvases. Unless specified, threads are not included with the canvas. Canvases are considered used because they are preowned. They are in excellent stored condition and any damage will be specified in the listing.
- For stitchery items. If threads are included, what appears in the pictures is what you will receive.
- For latch hook kits, all materials are assumed to be included. Most kits do not include latch hook. If it is not mentioned, then it is not in the kit.
- For all kits, opened and partially completed kits are noted. Unless otherwise specified, kits APPEAR to be complete. What you see in the pictures is what the winning bidder/buyer will receive.
- For hand painted yarn, I do not use stock photographs. There can be too much variation in color, so you can be sure what is shown in the pictures is the yarn you will receive.
- For books/magazines, I specify any damage that I see. Please do know that I am human and can miss something.
SHIPPING (NEW 2025):
- Shipping on larger canvases is going to be increased. Postage on tubes has been increased. I am shipping via FEDEX because it is cheaper but still higher than previously charged. If you want your canvas folded, I can ship for a decreased shipping cost. Let me know in the notes.
